ABOUT

Danielle Farrow is an experienced stage actress who performs regularly at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, with other credits within recorded media and work with directors such as Peter Richardson and Kenny Glenaan.

After completing an MA (mostly philosophy subjects) at the University of Edinburgh - and performing at the University's Bedlam Theatre - Danielle focused on acting with the Edinburgh Youth Theatre, studies at Telford College (HNC in Drama and Theatre Skills) and then a second - practical - degree: BA Hons. in Theatre Arts (Acting), studying under Niamh Dowling at the accredited Manchester School of Theatre. During her Manchester stay, she also performed as a tribal bellydancer (with the Urban Gypsies) and she continues to explore various dance styles and physical expression in performance.
Danielle is passionate about Shakespeare (see actingshakespeare.wordpress.com) and other classical theatre, but also enjoys sinking her teeth into a well-written modern play. She loves scripts that have language she can taste and exploring new techniques. She continues to develop her acting skills and has benefited from the classes of a number of noted theatre professionals (see CV). She is also a co-founder of the Actors Kitchen (where professionals meet to practice and share their skills) and an acting coach (see Discover Fine Acting), sharing her passion.

Danielle is a member of Equity and Spotlight and she is an Associate Artist with Tightlaced Theatre. She is also a panel member for the SCDA and for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust's 'Ask Shakespeare' project.

Danielle is represented by The Masques Agency - see Contact for details.
